Preparing your local map…
The map loads automatically as you approach it. City links work without JavaScript.
Distances between GeoNames place points, not driving distances or service coverage. US Census January 2025 state/county boundaries, not municipal limits. Points: GeoNames, CC BY 4.0. Map interface: Leaflet.
Three checks before you schedule
- Confirm which authority governs the property. City limits, utility territories and mailing addresses are different boundaries.
- Ask whether the proposed work requires tree review, especially when removal or construction affects regulated trees.
- Decide who will remove brush, trunk sections and the stump. Collection eligibility and contractor hauling are separate questions.
Regional tree-care recommendations are not a substitute for a site assessment. Oak pruning, for example, needs species-aware advice and attention to Texas oak-wilt prevention guidance. Start with our pruning field guide and confirm the plan with the professional doing the work.
For project planning, explore tree removal or storm and fallen-tree work. Nearby-place distances, where shown, are straight-line measurements between source coordinates, not driving distances or service radii.
